MITRA CERDAS

An education insurance program that grows in value as the cost of your child's education needs grow. (IDR)

The AJB Bumiputera 1912 Mitra Cerdas rupiah-denominated product is an education insurance program linked with investment. Therefore, the fund created for education tuition will increase in line with the investment results.

Saving for your children's future education is a wise idea, but the cost of education can rise faster than your savings, and present a real problem when you can least afford it.

Mitra Cerdas is specifically designed to develop money you allocate for your children's education. In contrast to general educational insurance that only offers protection and saving, this program gives you the opportunity to earn a competitive return on investment from the insurance premiums you pay.

Mitra Cerdas is a multi benefit program offering benefits including:

1. Educational continuity fund (DKB) paid in stages according to the age levels of children, whether the insured lives or dies.
2. Acquisition guarantee of investment return at 4.5% per year from the accumulated savings premiums.
3. Additional investment returns if the investment fund obtained by Bumiputera exceeds covered investment returns at point.
4. Death compensation 100% covered sum.
5. Free premiums for policy with death insured.
6. Development investment as stated in items 2 and 3 for Learning Continuity Fund (DKB), which is not taken at maturity.
7. If the Policyholders desire, on the death of the insured, the policy can be terminated by withdrawing the Learning Continuity Fund (DKB) at once, without prejudice to other rights outlined previously in items 2, 3 and 4.

Eligibility
If you are at least 21 years old and the total is not more than 65 when your age is added to the insurance period, you are entitled to be insured. The Insurance period is a minimum 3 years and maximum 17 years.

Minimum Coverage for each policy is IDR 100,000,000 (one hundred million Indonesian Rupiah). Premiums are payable in Rupiah, in single payments or annually, half-annually, and quarterly.

You can get Mitra Cerdas with physician's examination (medical) or without a physician's examination (non medical), with reference to the provisions of the applicable underwriting. The maximum amount of Coverage assured without a physician's examination (non-medical) is IDR 200,000,000 (two hundred million Indonesian Rupiah).
