AJB Bumiputera 1912 was established by three teachers with the goal of bringing prosperity to their fellow teachers at the time of Dutch colonization. Today, AJB Bumiputera 1912 continues this mission through a special insurance program designed specifically for teachers.

Protection, Saving, and Investment

Mitra Guru (Teacher's Insurance) is specifically designed to provide protection for Indonesian teachers. Through this program, teachers get insurance protection from AJB Bumiputera 1912 that increases in value each year. The program also combines saving and investment, providing teachers with a competitive investment return from paid insurance premium fund development.

Investment Increase Guaranteed

1. A guaranteed minimum investment return of 4.5% per annum or 0.37% per month, from premium fund accumulation.
2. Additional net returns on investment if AJB Bumiputera 1912's investment fund exceeds the 4.5% investment return guaranteed in item 1.

Double Protection

If the insured passes away, his/her legal heir receives death benefit including:

1. Increased Sum Insured amounting to 20% of the initial sum insured per year upon insured death.
2. Premium fund accumulation in accordance with AJB Bumiputera 1912's investment yield.

Low & Affordable Premium

1. With the minimum premium payments of Rp. 100,000 per month, you are entitled to Initial Sum Insured of Rp. 5,000,000.
2. Premium can be paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.

Flexible

1. Minimum insurance period of 5 years and maximum of 35 years.
2. Mitra Guru is available with a physician's examination (medical) or without a physician's examination (non-medical), in line with the applicable underwriting provisions.

Eligibility

If you are between the age of 21 and 65 years at the end of the insurance period, you are entitled to become a Policyholder.
