The AJB Bumiputera 1912 "Mitra Prima" dollar-denominated insurance program is designed to meet your most fundamental insurance needs: protection during the program, savings when the program ends, and a legacy for your loved ones if death cuts the program short.

With Mitra Prima, you do not pay for additional benefits you don't need.

Mitra Prima is designed to anticipate two situations. First, if you as the insured can complete this insurance program until end of the contract, you will receive the accumulated Insurance Value as agreed. However, if the contract is terminated part way due to death, your appointed legatee shall receive compensation equal to that mentioned in the policy.

It both cases, you or your legatee will also obtain additional accumulated bonus as mentioned in the policy, and may also request a benefit extension by adding insurance upon accident risk AB and waiver premium.

As a pure insurance product, Mitra Prima promises death risk compensation at 100% (a hundred percent) of the insurance value, except if the Insured dies during the 2 (two) years policy observation period. In case of death caused by accident, legatees shall still be entitled to obtain 100% (a hundred percent) of the insurance value.

Eligibility
Mitra Prima does not require a physician's examination (non-medical), if you are between 20 (twenty) years old and 50 (fifty) years old, or want a maximum insurance value amounting to US$40,000 (forty thousand US dollars). Above that age or insurance value, Mitra Prima requires a medical policy pursuant to the underwriting provisions.

Mitra Prima is marketed in US Dollar currency, with a minimum premium payment of US$100 (a hundred US dollars). The premium can be paid as one lump sum if desired, to avoid currency fluctuations or the need to organize regular payments.
